Torriden Dive-In Serum vs Hada Labo Premium Lotion

How we compared them

This page compares what each costs in Canada and what each label shows. We haven’t tested either on skin. Prices come from the October 2026 Price Index: Torriden was checked on October 5 and 6, Hada Labo on October 10. Torriden’s list is from its brand page (read October 6, 2026). Hada Labo’s is from Rohto’s Japanese ingredient page (read October 10, 2026), translated by us into INCI names.

Ingredient rows are marked as a tie wherever more or fewer isn’t clearly better. A longer list of hyaluronic acids doesn’t make a better product.

Price: no store in common

None of the three stores with Hada Labo in stock had Torriden in stock, and none of Torriden’s six had Hada Labo, so there’s no same-store price to compare. Here are both, per 100 ml, from cheapest to dearest.

Torriden DIVE-IN Serum (50 ml):

• Lakinza: C$23.01, or C$46.02 per 100 ml.
• BSW Beauty: C$23.99, or C$47.98.
• KBeauty Canada: C$25.95, or C$51.90.
• KBeauty Mart: C$25.99, or C$51.98.
• Kiokii: C$28.99, or C$57.98.
• Stylevana: C$30.29, or C$60.58.

Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion (170 ml):

• YesStyle: C$20.60, or C$12.12 per 100 ml.
• SKIN.TO: C$22.00, or C$12.94.
• THEKSHOP: C$28.00, or C$16.47.

Even Hada Labo’s dearest price per 100 ml, C$16.47, is about a third of Torriden’s cheapest, C$46.02. The bottle prices tell a different story. Hada Labo’s cheapest is C$20.60 for 170 ml and Torriden’s is C$23.01 for 50 ml, so a bottle of each costs about the same while one holds 3.4 times as much. Among stores that ship from Canada, the cheapest bottles are SKIN.TO’s C$22.00 and Lakinza’s C$23.01.

Price per millilitre shows what you pay for the liquid, not how long a bottle lasts. A serum and a lotion are used at different steps in a routine, so we haven’t ranked one as better value.

What’s printed on each label

Torriden DIVE-IN lists 33 ingredients. Five are forms of hyaluronic acid, running from sodium hyaluronate at 7th to hydrolyzed sodium hyaluronate at 11th. Glycerin is 3rd, panthenol 6th and allantoin 12th. It doesn’t list phenoxyethanol.

Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium also lists 33. Eight are forms of hyaluronic acid, running from sodium hyaluronate at 7th to C12-13 alkyl glyceryl hydrolyzed hyaluronate at 14th. It has diglycerin at 6th instead of glycerin, and no panthenol or allantoin. Phenoxyethanol is last.

The lists share 12 ingredients, including all five of Torriden’s hyaluronic-acid forms. Hada Labo adds three more: hydroxypropyltrimonium hyaluronate, a lactococcus ferment filtrate and the C12-13 alkyl glyceryl ester. Neither lists fragrance, and neither lists denatured alcohol.

Which to pick

• You want the lowest cost per ml for a hydration step: Hada Labo, at about a quarter of Torriden’s price per 100 ml.
• You want a serum with glycerin, panthenol and allantoin: Torriden lists all three.
• You want more hyaluronic-acid forms on the label: Hada Labo, with eight against five. Our hyaluronic acid page covers what the research says.
